Lowery Homes Inc. has been building premiere homes in Shelby and Jefferson County for years, but the company has been in the making since John Lowery's childhood. John is the son of master brick mason and homebuilder, Thomas F. Lowery Sr. By his father's side, he learned the art of brick masonry and home building. John attended the University of Alabama and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After college, John returned to Shelby County to help his father with his building company, trained to become a Real Estate Agent, and soon passed the Builder Certification Course. John's dream of continuing his father's legacy, and creating his own reputation was becoming a reality.

Lowery Homes Inc. has built all types of homes, but each is distinctive because of the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each home. John, along with his brother and partner, Thomas F Lowery Jr., maximize each home plan to include unique works of art such as dome, barrel, coffered and octagon ceilings. The homes feature arches, stained glass, gothic entryways, hand painted domes, and superior attention to detail in every turn. Lowery Homes Inc. was featured in the 2004 Parade of Homes in the Ballantrae Subdivision. The company was awarded the Gold Level for the home on Ballantrae Parkway. Lowery Homes has also been featured in several magazine and newspaper profiles for their outstanding quality and reputation.
